			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This is an undergraduate paper I wrote in response to an early draft (Nov 2009) of (primarily) chapter 6 of Douglas W. Portmore&#8217;s book <a href="http://www.public.asu.edu/~dportmor/Commonsense%20Consequentialism.htm"><em>Commonsense Consequentialism</em></a>. It was written for an independent study with Portmore on practical rationality. I spent a few weeks revising it and then used it as my writing sample for graduate school applications.</p>
